A small single-board computer with a 1090 MHz software-defined radio. We ship it preloaded and tied to your account, so it starts reporting the moment it has power and a network connection.

The receiver is part of the Ops and Command plans, which is where live ADS-B tracking lives. The Ramp plan is ground ops only — no receiver, no live radar, and no hardware fee. On Ops and up the one-time hardware & setup fee is $299 per location, and it's waived when you prepay annually or join as a design partner.

• Height beats everything. Roofline of the FBO or hangar is ideal; anything with a clear horizon in the directions your traffic arrives from will work.
• Keep coax short. Under 25 feet if you can. Long runs cost you range.
• Vertical, outdoors, away from metal. Mount the antenna vertically and clear of large metal surfaces and other transmitters.
• Indoors is a fallback. A window facing the approach still gives usable coverage for a first week while you plan the roof mount.

• · Wired Ethernet is preferred; Wi-Fi works if the signal is solid at the mount point.
• · Outbound HTTPS only — no inbound ports or port forwarding required.
• · No static IP needed. The receiver identifies itself with its own key.
• · Roughly a few megabytes per hour of traffic. It is not a bandwidth concern.

Tracking runs on our servers, so arrivals and alerts keep working even when nobody has the app open.

BravoRelay installs like an app on any modern phone or tablet — iPhone, iPad, or Android — straight from the browser. No app store, no MDM, no device purchase required.

• iPhone / iPad: open BravoRelay in Safari, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen."
• Android: open in Chrome, then tap "Install app" from the menu.
• Desk: any browser. A second monitor for the hangar layout is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.

Turn on Glove Mode in the app for oversized touch targets in winter gloves and direct sunlight.

1. Create your organization and location.
2. Mount the antenna and plug in the receiver.
3. Confirm the green receiver status badge in Settings → Hardware.
4. Invite your crew and assign roles.
5. Log your first fuel ticket — the rest follows the same pattern.
